The Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider Course is a 4-hour program designed to train skills of high-quality CPR for the adult, child and infant.
Course content includes:
High quality CPR for the adult, child and infant
AHA Chain of Survival
Recognize several life-threatening emergencies
Deliver effective ventilations with a barrier device
Provide early use of an AED
Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction-choking
Course completion: 84% minimum on a written exam and skill performance completion.
Course completion eCards are awarded for successful completion.
Intended Audience - Healthcare Providers such as: Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, Respiratory Therapists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Physician's Assistants, Residents or Fellows, or Medical or Nursing students in training, Aides, Medical or Nursing Assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel in a wide variety of settings.
