We are open on a limited basis at this time. The American Heart Association provided 120-day extensions for cards that expire March-June 2020. We have added some AHA renewal courses for the immediate future and will continue to add more as staffing/space allows.

Important Notes:

  • We must give registration priority to those who expired first.
  • First-time students/providers or those who lapsed prior to March 2020 will need to take the full provider classes, not renewals.

You will need to show your expired AHA card for admission to class and follow this extension schedule:

  • March/April expirations = June/July classes
  • May/June expirations = August/September classes
  • July expiration dates =

BLS Healthcare Provider


The Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider Course is a 4-hour program designed to teach skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO).

Completion of program is a prerequisite for all ACLS & PALS programs, as well as for the full BLS Instructor course. Successful course completion is measured through a written exam and satisfactory skill performance.  Course completion cards are immediately awarded for successful completion.

Intended Audience - Healthcare Providers such as: Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, Respiratory Therapists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Physician's Assistants, Residents or Fellows, or Medical or Nursing students in training, Aides, Medical or Nursing Assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel in a wide variety of settings.
